About SG's "Gleaning Grocery Store":

The  "Gleaning Grocery Store" Program under D.I.T.O.'s "Segue Garden" division officially started December 15, 2014. It was the first program organized by D.I.T.O Inc. in partnership with Reach Philadelphia and Trader Joe's (933 Old York Rd, Jenkintown, PA 19046). The mission and purpose of this program surrounded the acknowledgement of quality foods being wasted daily; while families starved. Through these partnerships, D.I.T.O Inc. has feed hundreds of families quality foods at no cost to them. It is the goal of this program to eliminate the waste of food while expanding the standard of food pantries. D.I.T.O Inc. wants to pave the way for re-framing how food is provided to the community.
